About Us
Atlantic Comfort Systems, Inc. is a Mechanical Contractor (Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Plumbing & Controls) incorporated in May of 1991, focusing on services, sales, and installations. We started as a service based company and that remains our strength and foundation. As customer’s requests increased for installations and demand dictated, we formed a construction division with a controls specialist. We then formed a controls/commissioning company, ACS Controls, Inc., and a plumbing department. We presently have 15 technicians, who collectively have over 280 years experience and carry the respective licenses to do anything in the heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration field. We are a certified dealer for Carrier, and York, start-up and factory authorized service for Liebert, Mammoth, McQuay and Trane to mention a few.
We are located in Biddeford, Maine, where we started renting space in an old mill building along the Saco River. As we grew and took over more of the old mill, it was time to build our own facility. In 1998 we constructed and moved into our own facility, 4 minutes from I-95, Exit 32 in the Biddeford Airport Industrial Park, centrally placing us to service our customers north to Lewiston/Auburn, Maine and South to New Hampshire.
We are progressive in using the newest technologies, such as remote building control and monitoring (which we have been doing for years), to environmental safeties. The office is staffed to enhance these qualifications, and has 24-hour service. We are fully insured, and have bonding capabilities of $1,000,000 plus as well as Maintenance Contracts tailored to the customer’s facility and budget.
